Our children need us parents, but they need us to behave as adults. This workshop will bring you new knowledge about all the possible ways to understand and change and improve your dynamics with your children.

Time: 6 PM – 9 PM ( EST)
Description
We get into conflicts with our children all the time.
When we observe these moments up close, we realize that we almost always “get stuck” in the same situations. Even though we try to avoid repeating the same patterns, they just end up happening again.
Entanglement with our children is like dancing.
We always take the same steps. These steps erode our connection with our chid and consequently reduces our influence.
In this workshop, we will observe the steps that we, as parents, can take to exit these eternally repetitive dances. As a result, we will provide our children with stability and give them the sense of safety, to rely on us parents.
We will take a detailed look at the most common situations in which we “dance” with our children and learn about these steps:
- Getting to know the educational models that we use: overly caring (“helicopter”) parents, parents who give their child overly difficult challanges so that the child has trouble orienting himself, parents who find it difficult to encourage….
- The patterns that guide our responses to our child.
Only when we recognize our own impulses, why we always respond so quickly and in the same way to the actions of our children, can we understand the dynamics of the relationship and start to change it.
- Destructive beliefs that we might not even be aware of, or which we don’t know how to “let go” of, can be replaced with more functional ones.
- Getting to know the emotions that limit us in raising a child: fear, doubt, feelings of guilt.
The main goal of the workshop is to become aware of your part in the conflcts with your child and to take the first steps in understanding yourself.
When we parents realize that we are not doing well and start to judge ourselves, our children perceive our behavior as instability, and feel that they have no one. They often respond to such situations with rebellion and anger.
This behavior of our children’s makes us feel like they don’t care, which isn’t true.
Our children need us parents, but they need us to behave as adults. This workshop will bring you new knowledge about all the possible ways to understand and change and improve your dynamics with your children.
